Multimedia integrates new, richer forms of communication through the combination of digital media elements. The platform on which this interactivity is most evident and which has the greatest commercial application today is the world wide web. Diploma of Multimedia (Web) students learn all aspects of design and development within the new media industries including: graphic design for screen, interface design, interaction design, 2D & 3D animation; web site development; digital video & audio production; and project planning.
The Diploma of Multimedia (Web) has a dual focus of ensuring that students possess practical, job-ready skills in line with industry demands and an extensive portfolio of work produced during their studies to demonstrate these skills to potential employers. This gives graduates of Diploma of Multimedia (Web) the best possible chance of forging a successful.
The Diploma of Multimedia (Web) is offered as a one-year full-time, face-to-face, course at each of our campuses and is also available via flexible delivery online.
Graduates of the Diploma of Multimedia (Web) may also receive advanced standing for the Bachelor of Applied Multimedia, if they choose to pursue further education in multimedia design and production.
